Triple Salto for the Louma 2 on « Coco ».
The telescopic crane from Loumasystems has participated to the recently released blockbuster comedy directed by famous actor/director Gad Elmaleh. For one sequence Gad Elmaleh (who has been recently chosen by Steven Spielberg as part of the casting of “Tintin”) wanted to follow the evolutions of his son on an ice skating ring. The software assistance of the crane has eased the work of the camera operator as the arm of the Louma 2 was following the evolutions of the young skater. The “Back pan” assistance, automatic compensation of the Pan of the camera when the arm pans around, has allowed the operator to free himself of this purely mechanical compensation in order to concentrate exclusively on the artistic composition of his framing.

The Louma 2 crane magnifies the sets of “The Duchess”.
The new telescopic crane from Loumasystems has participated to several important scenes of Saul Dibb period piece. This chronicle of the life of 18th century stars Keira Knightley and Ralph Fiennes in the leading roles. The Louma 2 has contributed to give production value to several scenes with big sets and hundred of extras. The new crane is well appreciated from the Producers which like its reliability as well as its very quick set up time.

The Spidercam system covers the OM/PSG soccer match for Canal Plus.
Loumasystems Spidercam has recently been used to cover OM/PSG, an important match counting for the League 1 competition. The event happened last October 26 in Marseilles. Every body remembers the spectacular images that this flying camera system has offered us on the last Euro 2008. Loumasystems Spidercam has followed, with the same spectacular manner, the actions of Valbuena and Hoarau on the famous Stade Velodrome of Marseilles.
With this match, Canal Plus has gathered more than 2 500 000 viewers and scored its best audience since 8 years.
Loumasystems Spidercam launched for the first time in France on “Star Academy” show.
Loumasysytems has launched with success its Spidercam system on the first two “Primes” of the new season of the “Star Academy Show” (the French equivalent to “American Idol”). The famous system of flying camera on wires has covered with stunning perspective and points of view the whole space of the show, both above the public and around the magnificent set of the famous set designer Michele Sarfati.
Loumasystems has cooperated with the Austrian designer and Bureau Veritas, the French board of safety, to a special version of the Spidercam system which incorporates dual lines, in order to satisfy the French Safety legislation, known to be the most secure in Europe.
Scorpio Stabilised head and Audrey Tautou meet in Istambul for Chanel n°5.
The famous director Jean Pierre Jeunet known for « Amélie » and « A very long engagement » has recently directed Audrey Tautou for the new Chanel n°5 spot. For one of the scenes, the director had to film his favourite actress on a luxury sail boat in the middle of the Bosphore Detroit. The Loumasystems Scorpio Stabilised head has been installed on a motor boat which was following the action. The stabilised head has permitted to free the camera from the vibrations and loss of horizon associated with any shooting at sea. Jean Pierre Jeunet has also used several Loumasystems telescopic cranes to shoot the other sequences of this prestigious commercial.
Louma crane takes a shower with Star Academy’s Jenifer !
A Louma crane has recently been used on the last video clip from singer Jenifer. The clip has been shot on stage in front of a sophisticated white set which become colored as the artificial rain starts to fall on it. It is equipped of a rain protection that the Louma crane has covered the action while the rain was dissolving the superficial white coating of the set.
Loumasystems Supertechno 50 follows Laure Manaudou up to Beijing!
A Supertechno 50 has recently been used on a commercial for EDF (the French national electricity company). The “pitch” of the commercial was: “Laure Manaudou, the famous French swimmer champion swims her way to the Beijing Olympics. Several shots of the commercial required to follow the champion during her swimming progression with the camera very close to the water. The Loumasystems Supertechno 50 has permitted the coverage of the action thanks to the combination of its swing and telescope which permits to follow a character on a distance of more than 80 feet.
Louma 2 solves a traffic problem on the new Stephen Frears movie.
The new telescopic crane from Loumasystems has been used on several scenes of the new Stephen Frears feature starring Michelle Pfeiffer. The famous director’s new film is a romantic drama set in the 1920s Paris. One of these scenes had to be shot in front of an old house located on a busy street of the city. The telescopic arm of the Louma 2 had to cross the street to cover the action, thus requiring to stop the traffic. The computer assistance of the Louma 2 has helped reduce the number of takes, therefore minimizing the inconvenience to the traffic.
The Louma 2 saves time on “Disco” new hit comedy.
The new telescopic crane from Loumasystems has been used on success director Fabien Onteniente (Camping / 5 Millions admissions) new opus starring Franck Dubosc.
The Louma 2 is greatly appreciated by producers in reason of the substantial saving of time it permits. This saving is not only due to the Louma 2 computer assistance which reduces the number of takes, but also to its set up time which is extremely fast (under 60 minutes between the arrival of the truck and the ready to rehearse). This has been made possible thanks to sophisticated logistics around the crane (general design, efficient internal truck set up, highly suited accessories chariots, pre cabling, etc).

Loumasystems gigantic Akela crane has been used on writer/actor/director Dany Boon last feature film “ Welcome to the land of the Ch'tis “. The director’s last opus is a huge success in France and the movie has already attracted 5 millions spectators after its first week of release. For the titles end shot, Dany Boon wanted a classical “Hollywood style” happy end shot. Loumasystems Akela crane has followed the departure of one of the main actor from street level up to 70’ in the air, revealing the whole town above the roofs.
