The famous director Jean Pierre Jeunet known for « Amélie » and « A very long engagement » has recently directed Audrey Tautou for the new Chanel n°5 spot. For one of the scenes, the director had to film his favourite actress on a luxury sail boat in the middle of the Bosphore Detroit. The Loumasystems Scorpio Stabilised head has been installed on a motor boat which was following the action. The stabilised head has permitted to free the camera from the vibrations and loss of horizon associated with any shooting at sea. Jean Pierre Jeunet has also used several Loumasystems telescopic cranes to shoot the other sequences of this prestigious commercial.

Louma 2 solves a traffic problem on the new Stephen Frears movie.

The new telescopic crane from Loumasystems has been used on several scenes of the new Stephen Frears feature starring Michelle Pfeiffer. The famous director’s new film is a romantic drama set in the 1920s Paris. One of these scenes had to be shot in front of an old house located on a busy street of the city. The telescopic arm of the Louma 2 had to cross the street to cover the action, thus requiring to stop the traffic. The computer assistance of the Louma 2 has helped reduce the number of takes, therefore minimizing the inconvenience to the traffic.
Louma 2 / Disco, FR
The Louma 2 saves time on “Disco” new hit comedy.

The new telescopic crane from Loumasystems has been used on success director Fabien Onteniente (Camping / 5 Millions admissions) new opus starring Franck Dubosc.
The Louma 2 is greatly appreciated by producers in reason of the substantial saving of time it permits. This saving is not only due to the Louma 2 computer assistance which reduces the number of takes, but also to its set up time which is extremely fast (under 60 minutes between the arrival of the truck and the ready to rehearse). This has been made possible thanks to sophisticated logistics around the crane (general design, efficient internal truck set up, highly suited accessories chariots, pre cabling, etc).
